Steinhoff is an integrated lifestyle supplier that manufactures, sources, warehouses,
retails and distributes furniture, bedding and case goods to markets in southern Africa, Europe and the Pacific Rim.
Steinhoff is listed on the JSE Limited – and is part of the exchange’s Top 40
index (Alsi 40) and is also included in the Industrial Index (Indi
25). Management owns a significant percentage of the group’s equity, along with leading institutional shareholders and the public.
Since listing in 1998, Steinhoff has delivered consistent growth, more than tripling revenue and net profit and almost quadrupling total assets.
Up and to 2006, distributions to shareholders have risen from 6,2 cps
to 37,5 cps.
