The group has augmented this operation with the establishment of the Steinhoff International Souring division, a pure service provider that supports the sourcing of products for each division and territory in which the group operates at competitive prices and with comprehensive quality review and planning.

By operating as a buying agent, the division eliminates unnecessary intermediaries and is able to tailor its sourcing services to the individual requirements and operating practices of over 20 Steinhoff group companies and their strategic retail customers across three continents.

Given the significant changes in global production, with facilities expanding into new and distant locations, Steinhoff has expanded the sourcing network to include regions such as Vietnam and other countries in Asia and Indonesia. This provides a critical framework for direct access to distant production facilities and continually enriches the product and manufacturing expertise within the group.
