In The Netherlands, Steinhoff has a 50% interest in Van den Bosch Beheer BV, a family business which sources and sells a wide range of household goods to retailers in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxenbourg and Germany and exports to the United Kingdom. Past acquisitions have made Steinhoff a major participant in the bedding market through the Norma and Hukla brands.

The company sells private label livingroom furniture to leading upmarket retailers, including diningroom tables, chairs, cabinets and home theatre elements and matching sofas. Primary activities are conducted through Habufa Meubelen BV with a range of branded rattan, antique reproduction and upholstered furniture drawn from a global sourcing network.

We also offer lifestyle furniture, including accessories and home decorations. This store-in-store concept trades as Henders & Hazel in European markets, presenting modular options in specialist product displays. There are 60 dedicated retailers with exclusive rights to this concept in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, and the intention is to expand this base aggressively.

Steinhoff is also a preferred supplier to a French retailer with 15 stores in the southern and western parts of France.

UK retailers are able to offer customers a home delivery and assembly service, which has strengthened Steinhoff’s position in this competitive market with a new distribution centre in Holland now managing increased activities in this sector.
