| Steinhoff International Sourcing and Logistics provides services to the European furniture and household goods markets. These businesses control the sourcing and movement of goods for many customers from the manufacturing source, to the retail store and on to the customer’s home. Distribution and warehousing facilities are located in most of the main cities or areas in which the group has a retail presence. Sophisticated technology and state-of-the-art warehousing facilities supported by expertise in logistics and supply chain management, enables the group to deliver a world-class service. The majority of the European manufacturing division’s capacity is located in eastern Europe. Operations comprise factories in Poland, Hungary, Germany and the United Kingdom. The manufacturing operations focus on upholstered furniture, mattresses and divans and include bathroom production facilities. The manufacturing division’s proximity to the large European household goods markets, its ability to assemble furniture sourced from Asia and Europe, and its ability to replace or repair products subject to the stringent legal European warranty requirements, remain key competitive advantages to external retail customers and group-owned retailers. |

This division has a retail presence in Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Steinhoff Europe manages a diverse multi-brand strategy to remain relevant to their local consumers with each of the brands being well established and recognised household names in the country where they operate. Retail include the sale of furniture, beds, kitchens, household appliances, homeware, decor items and the like. |

| KAP International is an investment company with a diverse portfolio of industrial businesses. The group has logistics, integrated timber and manufacturing operations in southern Africa. These include: a specialist logistics business that designs, implements and manages supply chains and logistics services with additional passenger services; integrated timber operations comprising forestry plantations, timber beneficiation processes and sawmills, particle board and decorative laminate plants; and the manufacturing of industrial and consumer products including foam, woven jacquard textiles, components predominantly used in bedding products, bottle resin, automotive products, leather products, fashion and industrial footwear, towelling products and food. |

The furniture and household goods retail division includes well-known household brands which include electronic and household appliances targeting the mass- and middle market consumers. The automotive division offers a wide range of new and pre-owned vehicles, parts and accessories, servicing and insurance which is further complemented by the Hertz Car Rental division. Steinbuild, through its focus on the DIY market deliver building supplies to the professional tradesman and builders. |
